Main Purpose Lead the development and execution of Guardian Malaysia's digital, social and performance marketing strategies. Your goal is to drive brand awareness, traffic, conversion and consumer engagement across online and offline platforms. You will bring a strategic mindset and strong execution capabilities in digital and performance marketing. You will lead a team and collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to strengthen Guardian's position as the Leading Trusted Advisor for Wellness. Key Responsibilities 1. Digital Strategy & Performance Marketing Plan and manage end-to-end digital campaigns across platforms (social, display, search, video, programmatic, KOLs) to drive awareness, acquisition, and conversion. Optimize paid media performance across platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu, YouTube, etc.). Develop integrated digital plans aligned with brand campaigns, promotions, and product launches. Partner with eCommerce team to drive digital traffic to Guardian's online store and omnichannel sales Oversee digital agencies, campaign budgets to ensure efficient spend and strong ROI. 2. Social Media Strategy & Content Leadership Lead guardian Malaysia's social media strategy across platforms to grow reach, engagement and brand love. Own the always-on and campaign-based content calendar, ensuring consistent, relevant and brand-aligned messaging. Oversee content creation ensuring high standards in line with guardian's tone and identity. Consolidate and mange social calendar working closely with internal/external stakeholders and ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and on budget Oversee influencer / KOL strategy to drive authenticity, community building and social commerce opportunities. Stay on top of social trends, features, and algorithms to evolve approach and adopt new formats. 3. Media Planning Manage the annual and campaign-level media planning across performance, awareness, and engagement objectives Collaborate with Media agency to ensure efficient allocation of media budgets, optimize channel mix across platforms based on customer insights, business priorities, and ROI goals. 4. Analytics and Reporting Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure effectiveness of all digital marketing campaigns Ensure data, learning and ROI analysis from past marketing campaigns are reported back to the business Responsible for social media monitoring on customer sentiments, tracking online buzz, competition and be aware of market changes & development 5. Team Leadership Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, contributing to the building of a high-performance team. Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback and support professional development and upskilling. Maintain an open and collaborative team culture. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of planning and executing impactful campaigns. Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, measurement frameworks, and technical implementation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Proactive in staying updated on digital marketing trends and innovations. Ability to thrive in a performance-driven, fast-paced environment. Passion for retail and consumer engagement.
