SUMMARY OF OVERALL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES To co-lead in the development of data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. To work on optimal data delivery architecture that is consistent throughout ongoing projects for the organization. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND TASKS Lead sub-unit to construct, test and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems of data. Spearhead processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. Create and maintain analytics infrastructure that enables almost every other function within the data scopes. Champion the sub-unit to Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability etc. As a subject expert in building data lake and data tools for analytics and data science team members that assist them in building and optimizing our solution into an innovative industry leader. Work and lead with stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome especially on improving efficiency, productivity and monetization using various data science methodology. Co-lead with vendors/consultants on various analytics projects and apply the best practice for internal usage. Collaborate with different units in the Data Analytics Centre and other departments to support data collection, integration and retention requirements. PERSON SPECIFICATION At least a bachelor&aposs degree in any of the following disciplines but not limited to: Mathematics Computer Science Statistics Economics Actuarial Data Science Knowledge of various technological decision making for the business&aposs future data, analysis, and reporting needs. Have involved in the development of stakeholder-ready deliverables and presenting them with confidence and influential. Preferably to have Big Data Analytics short-term courses or have obtained certification in Data Science. At least 5 years working experience of relevant database architecting, preparation, design and modelling. Knowledge of database architecture, data modelling, data warehousing, ETL methodologies and compute engineering. Experience with SQL/Phyton/SAS/Tableau/R/SPSS/Adobe or other Machine Learning programming languages. Experience with Hadoop/Hybrid/Cloud and other data storage tools. Have involved in the development of data marts, data lakes and databases. Leadership or Management of team members in the past employment. Proficient in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
