Responsibilities Conduct sourcing for Project & Non-Project related by managing price negotiation, supplier selection, and evaluation to deliver quality standards and on time delivery. Purchasing Operations: Process purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and specifications. Contracts (including formal, short form, and annual contracts) - drafting, evaluation, negotiatio,n and execution, provide guidance on contract matters to Project managers or other operational staff. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery schedules. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance. Ensure adherence to procurement regulations and internal controls. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and guiding principles. Provide recommendations and often negotiate directly withthe customer or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached. To coordinate the entire logistic operation, including all customs clearances, deliveries to sites, receiving, processing of work orders and invoicing in a timely manner. Cost Optimization: Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities. Reporting: Prepare procurement reports and ensure data accuracy. To perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. Required to deal with overseas. Experienced in the Construction Industry will be an added advantage. Qualifications Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably procurement and logistics, construction or equivalent. Required language (s) to converse, read and write: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required in this position. Possesses at least 2 years of leadership experience and capabilities. Able to work autonomously in a demanding environment (meaning hands-on problem-solving skills are needed when necessary). Able to interact with all levels of the organization including senior management. Relationship builder, strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work internally and externally in an effective and efficient way.
