PURPOSE/SUMMARY The Senior Brand/Account Manager is responsible for proactively engaging the clients through end-to-end project management and driving the growth of revenue from current clients and new businesses. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES CLIENT/ STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Anticipate client's needs/requests, recognize and nurture ideas that will most effectively see the client's brand Independently lead meetings with clients and internal stakeholders and ensure projects are led in a productive direction Provide counsel to clients on solutions to communications problems/opportunities within the context of integrated communications designed to build the client's business Establish solid working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients by maintaining crisp and clear communication with them in different phases of the project-cycle Proactively engage clients in communications initiatives and maintain open rapport with the top decision makers Respected by clients and Grey's network and has solid working relationships with all levels within the company Integrate internal multi-disciplined teams within Grey who are working on the account Maintain client engagement by understanding their business, needs and competitors, regularly organizing feedback and promptly responding to and resolving any issues that may arise STRATEGIC AND INNOVATIVE THINKING Prepare and present information/briefs/ideas in an articulate, compelling and clear manner Evaluate whether ideas are in accordance with brief and identify good/outstanding brand building ideas COMMERCIAL ACUMEN Support the Account / Brand Director in achieving profitability objectives. Demonstrate good business sense and define key issues Manage the budget, cost approvals, on-time billing/payment, and all financial matters associated with his/her key projects NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Maintain and grow the existing accounts through appropriate propositions and ethical methods, and identify new business opportunities that will drive revenue for the agency OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Leverage available resources to effectively perform and implement plans and strategies Maintain timeline and ensure prompt delivery for key milestones including briefs, presentations, approvals and production Effectively and seamlessly manage several key projects for the account, and orchestrate all strategic planning, creative development and production Mentor and guide a team and ensure the implementation of projects meet client standards as outlined and agreed ROLE SKILLS REQUIREMENT, EXPERIENCES Degree holder in any discipline with minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in marketing/digital/advertising agency Able to assess market information, clients' brief, strategic input from other departments to develop effective communication recommendations and programmes Strong project management and follow-through skills Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong aptitude for building partner relationships Strong analytical, problem-solving skills Able to work under pressure, adapt to changes and meet tight deadlines Result and detail-oriented, self-motivated. Highly organized with an ability to multi-task well Able to work within and foster an open culture, practice collaborative communication and drive our collective ambition in applying creativity to solve business problems CORE COMPETENCIES Project Management Leadership Skills & Team Player Communication & Negotiation Skills Decision Making Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills In-depth Product/Brand Knowledge Results-Oriented & Process-Focused Good Business Judgement Problem-Solver KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR THE WORK Assume greater leadership/accountability on the account(s) through independently managing full projects from start to finish for client Take the lead on inspiring the Creative team - present initiatives proactively to client Project Management - ensure accuracy of the updates of WIP report, status report and track progress of clients' projects against timeline Be more involved in Strategic Thinking for Clients - indicate deliverables Be part of the agency's success by being actively involved in new business pitch(es) Mentor and guide the AE/SAE within the team CLIENT/ STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP Along with the Account Lead, build and sustain solid client relationships based on mutual respect by maintaining clear communication with them in different phases of the project-cycle and responding to their queries promptly Maintain open rapport/ communication with the top decision makers Able to guide/ influence client's thinking and 'sell' ideas that will most effectively see the client's brand COLLABORATION/ TEAMWORK Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across different departments within the agency TALENT Mentor and guide the juniors within the Account Management team FINANCIALS Maintain financial discipline through monitoring the budget, cost approvals, billing and raise cost estimates before job execution (ensure accurate documentation of all costs, invoices, WIP and client communication) CULTURE Apply Grey Global Driving Principles and Values (Fast, Fair, Collaborative, Honest, Brave) This should be evident from our behaviours, how we approach in the way we work.
