Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for electrical and instrumentation piping systems within the Oil & Gas sector. Utilize AutoCAD, CADWorx, or similar software to create accurate 2D and 3D models of piping layouts, including equipment and instrumentation placement. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints, ensuring designs meet technical specifications and project objectives. Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary data for design development and to verify compliance with design requirements. Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and other technical documents to ensure accurate representation in piping designs. Perform calculations related to pipe sizing, pressure drops, and material selection to support design decisions. Coordinate with other disciplines such as process engineering, mechanical design, and structural engineering to integrate piping systems into overall project designs. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards related to electrical and instrumentation piping design, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Support project execution by assisting with procurement activities, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), and addressing design-related issues during construction.
