Electrical Engineer, Design & Commissioning - 2 years contract

- Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are imperative to success in this position.
- Work closely with team members actively participate in the design and advancement of electrical systems for data center projects
- Possess experienced / knowledge in electrical design and an understanding of electrical equipment such as switch gear, UPS, transformer, switchboard, etc.
- Excellent teamwork skills and communication skill
- Ensuring all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards
- Providing input over the design and development of equipment designs as they progress through the design process
- Ability to read, interpret and understand the engineering documents such as P&IDs, Single Line Diagram (SLD), Layout diagram and others project engineering related documents or procedures.
- Provide direct support to vendors & suppliers, and construction sites to ensure project schedules are met, resolve anomalies, and streamline operations to improve efficiency.
- Develops design improvements that reduce cost and risk and/or improve performance and/or reliability.
- Support and participate the installation and testing of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Possess a willingness to function in multiple job roles simultaneously.
- Responsible in working together with the various disciplines for smooth execution of projects.
- Willingness to work at construction site to provide engineering support to the construction team.
- Compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental policies
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 - 4 years working experience in relevant Electrical Engineering
- Register as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineering Malaysia.
- Proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft office
