Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: FSE & Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.Work Model: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Service Business and based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.You will be mainly accountable for:Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.Qualifications for the roleDegree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer specializing in LV and MV switchgear systems, including protection relays and associated components, with deep expertise in switchgear technologies.Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of switchgear and experience in O& G/Data Center sector.Ability to travel to domestic, onshore, offshore and international sites.Motivated & self driven individual with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.BenefitsWe also offer our employees the following benefits:Life InsuranceMedical InsuranceAccident InsuranceParental leavehybrid/flexible work practicesLocal Specific Benefits (Open Field below – Optional)
