Job Description About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Audio Engineer to join our in-house production team. You'll be the go-to person for all things audio, from capturing crisp sound on set to mastering clean mixes for online content. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and can pivot between voiceover sessions, on-location recording, and tight-turnaround post-production needs, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Sound Recording & On-Set Support Operate audio equipment during studio and location shoots. Set up microphones (lavaliers, booms) and ensure proper placement on and off the talents. Monitor and ensure clean audio capture on set. Sync audio with a camera during shoots. Provide live voice recording support when needed. Audio Post-Production Record and guide VO talents in both Bahasa Malaysia and English for a variety of media (TVC, online videos, social media). Handle mixing and mastering of all in-house video productions. Source and select music tracks and sound effects suited to each project. Deliver high-quality final audio mixes under tight timelines. Operate Cubase and existing studio hardware with confidence and efficiency. Ensure seamless collaboration with producers, directors, and editors. Studio & Talent Management Manage all audio-related equipment, software, and studio upkeep. Coordinate VO talent bookings and guide performance direction. Ensure consistent and high-quality output across all deliverables. Liaise with internal stakeholders to support creative and production needs. Requirements Diploma or certificate in Audio Technology, Broadcasting, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audio engineering for production. Proficiency in Cubase or similar DAW platforms. Strong understanding of recording techniques, mixing, mastering, and sound design. Experienced in both BM & English VO direction and editing. Familiarity with music production, jingle creation, and sound branding is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Highly organized, adaptable, and team-oriented.
