Position Title Senior Executive, Business Intelligence Report To Senior Manager, Business Intelligence Position Summary Responsible for the end-to-end development, support, and continuous enhancement of Commercial Business Intelligence (BI) systems and processes. This includes ensuring the stability and efficiency of day-to-day operations, addressing system issues promptly, and implementing improvements to support evolving commercial strategies. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design effective BI solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and overall commercial performance. Key Accountability BI System Operations & Enhancement Monitor and ensure successful completion of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs and timely generation of error-free reports. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Develop and optimize new ETL pipelines with a focus on performance, scalability, and data quality. Reporting & Visualization Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, incorporating advanced Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions. Data Architecture & Integrity Develop and maintain SQL (Structured Query Language) stored procedures to support data transformation and reporting needs. Contribute to the design of high-performance BI systems that ensure data consistency and reliability. Implement data quality frameworks and best practices to maintain trusted data sources. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Explore and evaluate emerging BI and big data technologies, including Databricks, for potential adoption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Qualification & Working Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or analytics. Areas of Experience Exposure to commercial functions in the airline or travel industry is an advantage. Personality Traits Strong proficiency in MS SQL , including database administration and development. Experience in data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and ETL development.
