- Distributor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring alignment with company goals. Negotiate trade terms and service agreements to optimize performance.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track distributor KPIs (e.g., sales volume, stock levels, service quality), conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions or incentives to meet targets.
- Route-to-Market (RTM) Strategy Execution: Collaborate with RTM teams to enhance market coverage and product availability. Identify distribution gaps and develop strategies to improve reach and service levels.
- Sales & Distribution Planning: Work with sales teams to align distribution plans with market demand. Support inventory management and forecasting to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Market Analysis & Insights: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior. Provide actionable insights to internal teams to refine strategies and improve distributor performance.
- Promotion & Campaign Execution: Ensure effective execution of trade promotions and retail campaigns by distributors. Monitor campaign impact and adjust strategies as needed.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure distributor compliance with legal, financial, and quality standards. Provide regular performance reports and conduct audits to identify improvement areas.
- Training & Development: Lead training initiatives for distributor teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational best practices. Conduct regular updates and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Areas covered: Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Langkawi and Parit Buntar
- Holds a Bachelor's degree, with 4-5 years of proven experience in distributor and key account management, ideally within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Distributor Management Systems (DMS) considered an added advantage.
- Trilingual proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and English, enabling effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, negotiation acumen, and presentation skills, essential for driving strategic sales initiatives and distributor engagement.
- Possesses a valid driving license, with a readiness to travel frequently to manage regional accounts and ensure market execution excellence.
