Role Purpose The Assistant Manager - Learning & Development is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance employees' capabilities, focusing on soft skills, leadership, and customer engagement. This role requires fluency in Mandarin to conduct or localize training for Mandarin-speaking employees and stakeholders, ensuring inclusivity and maximum engagement. Key Responsibilities Training Needs Analysis & Program Design Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify learning needs, especially in soft skills, communication, and leadership competencies. Design and adapt training content to suit diverse audiences, ensuring cultural and language relevance for Mandarin-speaking participants. Develop blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e-learning). Training Delivery Facilitate engaging workshops, webinars, and coaching sessions in both English and Mandarin. Deliver soft skills training (e.g., communication, teamwork, conflict management, customer service, emotional intelligence). Adjust delivery style to match participants' learning preferences and organizational culture. Learning Program Management Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and participant communications. Monitor participation rates and learning progress through the e-latih system Manage vendor relationships for outsourced training solutions and HRDC. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement Gather feedback and use data to refine content, delivery methods, and learning impact. Track ROI of learning initiatives and present findings to management. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the key contact point for L&D initiatives involving Mandarin-speaking employees. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous learning. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, with proven expertise in soft skills training. Experience delivering training in Mandarin and English to adult learners. Skills & Competencies Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills in Mandarin and English (written & spoken). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners. Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
