Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: Engineering Manager - EhouseYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work for driving the E-House & Electrical solution portfolio business in electrical engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.Work Model: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries E-House Business. The role is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.You will be mainly accountable for:

Supporting the project lead Engineer in reviewing the technical documents like GA, SLD, Scheme etc.
Reviewing of Project RFQ documents and understand the requirements from customer.
Preparing/ Reviewing of project system study documents like load flow, short circuit, protection coordination studies.
Involving in standardization of technical documents.
Familiarization with ABB products like HV, MV & LV switchgears, PMS.
Familiarization with other electrical products like Transformers, UPS + Batteries, Distribution boards, NGR, Bus -duct etc.,
Preparing an individual equipment RFQ & liaising with suppliers. Reviewing supplier offers, preparing technical bid evaluation table.
Attending to customer sites with colleagues and conducting technical presentations and clarifications on ABB solutions.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology ideally focused on Electrical.
Previous experience working on electrical engineering phases in industries such as energy or O&G.
Experience with software such as ETAP, or similar tools for electrical design and analysis will be an advantage.
Enjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors.
Motivated & self driven individual.
Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
Keen in developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally.
