- Minimum 2-3 years in fitting and MIG/TIG welding
- Proficient in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Able to read mechanical drawings and weld symbols
- Experience with grinders, clamps, cutting tools, and fixtures
- Detail-oriented, physically fit, teamwork, time-conscious
- Basic English or Malay (for safety and documentation)
Tanggungjawab
o Read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.o Perform layout, part marking, and joint preparation before welding.o Use measuring tools (tape, square, caliper) to verify alignment and dimensions. o Perform MIG (GMAW) and/or TIG (GTAW) welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.o Tack-weld parts to hold alignment before full welds.o Use proper welding sequence to avoid distortion. o Visually inspect welds and perform self-checks before passing for QA inspection.o Repair welding defects such as porosity, undercut, and misalignment. o Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.o Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas. o Support other welders, machinists, or fitters when required.o Record completed work and report material shortages or equipment issuesManfaat
