"What would my job scope be" Title: Product Development Manager We are actively hiring for various roles as part of our expansion plan and are seeking a highly experienced and driven Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our line of innovative products aimed at enhancing the quality of lives for our customers. Responsibilities: 1. Product Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturing partners. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to establish strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing. 2. Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement comprehensive product testing plans, including performance, durability, and safety tests. Manage internal testing labs and collaborate with external testing labs to conduct rigorous product evaluations. Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and drive necessary product modifications or enhancements. 3. Product Improvement and Lifecycle Management: Continuously assess existing products for performance, functionality, and design improvements. Lead cross-functional teams to implement product enhancements, cost optimization initiatives, and quality improvements. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation of product improvements and changes. 4. Project Management: Develop project plans, set timelines, and manage resources to ensure timely execution of product development initiatives. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve potential bottlenecks, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to align efforts and achieve project objectives. Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate product performance, gather customer feedback, and collaborate with relevant teams to identify and implement improvements. 5. Product Documentation and Specifications: Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, technical drawings, and user manuals. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date product documentation. Work closely with the marketing team to communicate product specifications and features effectively to customers. Requirements: Minimum Bachelor&aposs degree in Engineering or any related field Proficiency in product testing methodologies, quality assurance, and compliance requirements. Excellent project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Only Malaysian citizens are considered at this time Preferred: Strong knowledge of home appliances market trends, customer preferences, and industry standards. Proficiency in speaking and reading Mandarin is preferred. Monthly salary RM7,000 - RM10,000 monthly Note: Salary offered takes into consideration your skills, past experiences and potential contributions.
