Technician (Ac & Mv)

• Certificate/Diploma in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in AC servicing and maintenance (commercial/industrial buildings preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and basic control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and during emergency call-outs.

• Installation & Commissioning

• Install, test, and commission air-conditioning units (split unit, VRV/VRF, chiller, AHU, FCU, etc.).
• Connect refrigerant lines, ducting, and electrical wiring according to standards.
• Operation & Monitoring

• Monitor daily operations of building AC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation fans.
• Record and maintain logs of system performance, temperature, and pressure readings.
• Adjust controls to maintain required indoor air quality and comfort levels.
• Maintenance & Servicing

• Perform preventive maintenance (filter cleaning/replacement, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults in AC systems (electrical, mechanical, or refrigerant issues).
• Carry out scheduled servicing to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
• Repairs & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in AC and ventilation systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, sensors, and controllers.
• Conduct leak detection and refrigerant recovery/charging in compliance with safety regulations.
• Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, environmental policies, and energy efficiency standards.
• Handle refrigerants safely and maintain proper records.
• Adhere to workplace safety procedures (lockout/tagout, PPE, confined space entry, etc.).
• Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and service reports.
• Report system performance issues to the M&E Manager.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
• Support & Coordination

• Assist in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for repair works and spare parts.
• Provide technical support during building events, shutdowns, or emergencies.
• Support other M&E team members in general building maintenance tasks when required.
