Job description: Job Scope / Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities in NVOCC and international freight forwarding (FCL, LCL, Air, and Land freight). Achieve sales targets for import/export volumes, revenue, and profit margins. Develop and execute sales strategies to gain new clients and grow market share. Generate leads, prepare proposals, conduct client presentations, and close deals. 2. Client Relationship Management Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction. Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and offer logistics solutions. Resolve customer complaints and handle service recovery efficiently. 3. Market Analysis & Strategy Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies. Provide feedback to management on market conditions and client demands. Work with management to adjust product offerings or pricing to remain competitive. 4. Coordination & Operations Support Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Follow up on shipments, documentation, and client communication. Collaborate with overseas agents/partners for cargo movement and service optimization. 5. Reporting & Administration Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates. Monitor individual KPIs and team performance against targets. Use CRM tools to manage sales activities and customer data. 6. Team Leadership (if applicable) Manage and guide the sales team to meet departmental goals. Conduct training, mentoring, and performance reviews for junior sales staff. Key Competencies Required: In-depth knowledge of NVOCC, shipping lines, freight forwarding, and Incoterms. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven sales experience in logistics/supply chain industry. Goal-oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
