- Develop electrical designs, covering the entire process from concept to detailed design.
- Take responsibility for the assigned design components, including the necessary follow-up for approval from relevant authorities and clients.
- Assist in liaising and coordinating with Local Authority Departments to secure approval for design projects.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects under the guidance of senior engineers/managers.
- Report to the line manager and ensure regular progress updates to the line manager, senior engineers, and project managers.
- Work under the supervision of senior engineers/supervisors and complete assigned tasks.
- Participate in progress meetings and workshops for design projects, collaborating with other disciplines.
- Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure the seamless continuation of design projects.
- Take part in the coordination process, including virtual coordination requirements and interfacing with other disciplines.
- Assist in creating drawings using CAD and BIM Revit models for M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) works in collaboration with the drafting and modeling team.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all issued and received documents and reports.
- Regularly manage documents and maintain project directories.
- Participate in CSD (Coordination Single Document) coordination meetings with other disciplines and modelers, identifying and distributing CSD/SEM (Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical) issues accordingly.
- Follow up with the project team on CSD and BIM model updates.
- Provide support to the Project Team for presentations involving BIM models and related activities.
- Possess a minimum of 2 to 5 years of design experience in building or infrastructure projects, with a preference for large-scale infrastructure and railway projects.
- Candidates with experience in M&E infrastructure, such as metro and railways, will be advantageous.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of design theory with a solid academic background.
- Exhibit a positive work attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- Familiarity with local building codes and authority submission procedures.
- Be a team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Display exceptional technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in computational software is essential.
- Hold a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong academic record.
- Graduate member of a professional institute.
