Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented events and marketing executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role will take the lead in planning and executing brand events, roadshows, and corporate functions - working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring our brand experiences to life. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is open to learning, and enjoys seeing plans come to life on the ground. While prior experience in direct selling or social commerce is a plus, it is not a requirement. We value candidates who are adaptable, eager to grow, and excited to learn on the job. As your direct supervisor will be based in Singapore, this role requires a high level of ownership and the ability to manage on-site execution independently. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of events, from planning to on-ground coordination and post-event reporting. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment across all event touchpoints. Liaise with vendors, partners, and venues to ensure smooth logistics and timely execution. Support the marketing team in creating campaign materials, content calendars, and promotional assets. Assist in analyzing sales and campaign data to support reseller performance. Coordinate with external agencies for content creation and social media execution. Prepare clear reports and presentations to share insights and track success metrics. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities. Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Education and Skills Requirements: Bachelor's degree in event management, communications, marketing, or a related field. High proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential. Proven experience in planning and executing events or activations. Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and partners. Able to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines. Marketing or social media coordination experience is a bonus. Previous experience in direct sales or social commerce is advantageous but not mandatory. Open-minded, fast learner, and able to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment.
