Your future jobAs an Equipment Specialist at Melexis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.More specifically, you will:
  • Carry out curative and preventive maintenance of complex machines in the production environment.
  • Manage the calibration process, including planning, execution, follow-up, and documentation of results.
  • Update and apply work instructions/checklists for calibration and full maintenance activities.
  • Release and install duplicated equipment to the production floor.
  • Support production in troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
  • Provides technical support as part of a Process optimization and Performance optimization projects - Level 1 and Level 2 project - (execution of validation plans, analysis, validation reports, implementation etc).
  • Translate technical knowledge into clear documentation for continuous improvement.
  • Deliver training and coaching to Lean Production team members and certain P&EE team positions to cascade technical know-how.
Your profile
  • Diploma in Electro-Mechanics, Electronics, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in the semiconductor equipment field.
  • Knowledge of machine equipment (mechanical and electronic parts), machine repair, and curative maintenance in the manufacturing environment.
  • A team player with a result-driven mindset.
  • Strong reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management techniques.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel to other sites.
