Job Description:Job Purpose
 To promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance products to the Bank's mass and mass affluent customers.
 To provide professional advice and on appropriate financial products based on customer needs.
 To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after sales services.
 To work closely with Preferred Relationship Managers and Commercial Banking Relationship Managers for referral on potential affluent customers.
 To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
 To act promptly on all leads and follow up activities.
 To achieve individual sales target and contribute towards the achievement of the region target."
Key Responsibility
Sales Planning
  • To promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance life insurance products to the Bank's existing and potential customers.
  • To provide professional advice and on appropriate financial products based on customer need.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after sales service.
  • To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
  • To act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
  • To acquire good knowledge of Bancassurance products in the market.
  • To achieve individual sales target and contribute towards the achievement of the branch target.
  • Manage sales pipeline by participating in sales management routines.
  • Keeping abreast with accurate and updated information on products, services etc.
  • Participate in CPD activities to increase knowledge and skills.
  • Update branch managers on status of activities and any issues when necessary.
Sales Execution
  • To actively market and sell Sun life products to all customer
  • Actively involve in cross-product sales activities of to ensure optimal customer reach, product exposure and effective operations that optimize delivery to customer.
  • Ensuring successfulness of all relevant sales campaign.
Customer Relations
  • Handles customer inquiries diligently, resolve of escalate the necessary to the relevant parties.
  • Refer customer to the relevant officers' sales person for other products and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the respective parties where necessary.
  • Develop and build long term business relationship with customers.
Compliance
  • To ensure the completeness and accurateness of customer's documents and information for sales execution and submission
  • To perform housekeeping on business documentation efficiently. Avoid exposure and exercise caution on all confidential information.
  • To submit the necessary to the relevant parties and follow-up on timely manner.
  • To strictly comply to the CIMB Bank's policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance, BNM Guidelines etc.
  • To comply with sales code of ethics and governance.
  • To response to compliance enquires both from vertical and horizontals as well as audit etc.
People Management
  • To promote and encourage teamwork by:
  • Providing assistance to colleagues, branch lead generators, supervisors etc.
  • Sharing knowledge and new ideas to the team.
  • Maintaining conducive and professional working relationship with team and customers.
  • To project a professional business image at all times through high standards of housekeeping and personal grooming.
Qualification
  • Fresh graduate
  • Minimum a diploma / degree in any field.
  • Minimum STPM / SPM (must obtain credit either in Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin and Mathematics)"
Education
Degree in any discipline
Skill
  • Good networking skills, customer focus, confident, proactive, and result oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is preferable but optional
  • Good business etiquette and image
  • Computer literate (e.g. basic Microsoft office)
