Senior Production Planner

• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term production schedules for onshore operations supporting offshore gas production.
• Coordinate with offshore production teams, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain to optimize production efficiency.
• Monitor production performance, track KPIs, and adjust plans to meet production targets.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of critical materials and equipment.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in risk assessments and ensure that planning activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
• Support emergency response planning by incorporating contingency measures into production schedules.
• Identify and recommend improvements to planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Communicate production plans effectively to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with operational goals, and conciliation (surplus, shortfalls etc.).
• Oversee routine operational management, ensuring seamless coordination between onshore and offshore teams.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on production activities, operational challenges, and solutions implemented.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production or operational issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit operational reports in accordance with Malaysian Petronas regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Petronas guidelines and best practices for production planning and reporting.
• Liaise with Petronas representatives and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth reporting and compliance with industry regulations.

• Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management procedures and controls across the engineering plan to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Comply to all Mubadala Energy, MPM and regulatory approved standard and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of offshore gas production processes, equipment, and constraints.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in offshore operations.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production planning within the oil and gas industry, preferably in offshore gas operations.
• Experience with production operations in the offshore environment.
• Experienced with MPM Production Reporting, ODU, and OPR. Quarterly IOM and Yearly AMiR.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Proficient in managing internal production planning; production outlook & downtime reporting.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic operational conditions.
