Responsibilities: Lead the R&D team in line with the management directions Responsible for developing new products and improving existing products Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to determine and establish new projects, products, processes, and plans. Monitor the progresses following the agreed targets Constantly up to date on the food regulatory information, innovation ingredients & process knowledge to establish system and standard of procedures Supervise and manage the R&D department on the day to day activities and responsible for their development, work effectiveness and efficiency by providing training, guidance and instruction required Understand and work with Regulatory and Quality compliance department regarding compliance of quality system requirements, other regulatory standards, and safety & health Support Training Department with trainings for new menus Site visit for product performance from time to time Observe sensory evaluation and efficacy of the developed products Establish and maintain all test reports & records Submission of assessment of ingredients & costing Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management Requirements: Must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology or other related disciplines Minimum 4 years of work experience in the related field Possess strong coffee knowledge Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills A valuable team player and able to work independently Knowledgeable of food technology, food microbiology, and nutritional ingredients formulations Understand compliance for food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and HALAL requirement is an added advantage Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Possess own transport and willing to travel #recruitment #researchanddevelopment #hiring #jobopportunity #jobopening #jobinmalaysia #jobinglenmarie #jobinshahalam
