- Minimum 1-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience (fresh graduates with internship experience will be considered).
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List and supplier database.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse/production team for replenishment needs.
- Review and verify purchase requisitions from various departments.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
- Resolve any issues regarding defective goods, delayed deliveries, or pricing discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
