DevOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role within the Cloud Engineering Team, engaging in a wide range of activities. This includes working closely with fellow team members and clients to identify optimal solutions for specific projects, as well as contributing to the design, development, and deployment of software products.Your role will involve the development and implementation of the following:

Crafting and deploying cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Automating builds, scripts, and deployment pipelines.
Supporting environmental setups, automated deployments, and testing.
Facilitating the creation of cloud environments automatically.
Implementing comprehensive software deployment governance.

Operational Support Tasks:

Participating in on-call support rotations.
Supporting deployments outside of regular hours, including weekends.

Principal Duties:

Engaging with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) on Azure.
Managing Azure resources such as App Service Plans, Storage Accounts, KeyVaults, and Virtual Machines.
Utilizing scripting languages like PowerShell, YAML, or Bash.
Gaining proficiency in database technologies, including Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and MongoDB.
Overseeing instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
Conducting in-depth analyses of application designs to identify and address root causes.
Designing web applications with a focus on high availability.
Establishing strong inter-team relationships.
Deep diving into infrastructure and application aspects, emphasizing the design, development, operation, and maintenance of high-performance, highly available services and systems.

A minimum of 3 years experience in a DevOps Engineering role.
Proficient in at least one operating system: Windows Administration or Linux Administration.
Beneficial to have experience with Azure Kubernetes Service management.
Must have automation skills in one or more of the following: PowerShell, YAML, or Bash.
Experience with at least one deployment tool required, VSTS DevOps preferred, or experience with Terraform or Git.
Ability to work with web technologies, including IIS or managing web applications.
Knowledgeable in database technologies.
Familiar with instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting practices.
Skilled in conducting thorough technical analyses of application designs and identifying root causes.
Knowledgeable in creating and managing high-availability configurations for web applications.
Experience with the operation and support of mission-critical applications, including handling incidents and managing outages.
Experience with BICEP is considered an advantage.
