Job Description: Qualify and audit suppliers to ensure capabilities and compliance with quality requirements for fabrication, sheet metal, and surface treatment processes. Review and approve First Article Inspections (FAI), process documentation, and quality control plans submitted by suppliers. Monitor supplier performance metrics (e.g., PPM) and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). Investigate supplier quality issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and verify the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Partner with suppliers to enhance process control, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Production) to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure supplier compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and relevant industry certifications. Maintain comprehensive supplier quality documentation, audit reports, and qualification records for traceability. Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, or related engineering field. Proficient in quality tools, methodologies, standards, and systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple vendors simultaneously.
