- Ensure alignment of all activities with the overall brand positioning and messaging.
- Identify and establish partnerships with local distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders to expand the brand's reach in Malaysia.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to maximize distribution and sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure ongoing support and collaboration.
- Track and analyze key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the launch strategy and initiatives.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the progress and results of the launch.
- Develop and manage the budget for the Malaysia brand launch, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor expenses and financial performance against budgetary targets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory changes relevant to the Malaysian market.
- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement to maintain a competitive edge.
- At least 8 years of work experience, with over 4 years in the field of marketing.
- Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or business development, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Experience in setting up business sales points in Malaysia.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian market dynamics, consumer preferences, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other local languages is a plus.
