💼 Role: Senior RHEL AdministratorWhat You'll Do:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize RHEL-based enterprise infrastructure in hybrid environments (on-premises & cloud).
- Oversee and manage HPE enterprise hardware (MoonShot, ProLiant) to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, and cloud-native APIs (Azure/AWS).
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and patch management through advanced scripting (Bash, Python, Perl).
- Build, maintain, and manage custom Linux binary packages (RPM) and automated OS/application deployment via Kickstart.
- Configure and support enterprise-grade monitoring and alerting systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Icinga).
- Manage and optimize virtualization environments (QEMU/KVM, VMware integrations).
- Support enterprise authentication (Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and SAML-based SSO).
- Strengthen IT security posture by implementing hardening best practices, patch compliance, and leveraging SIEM platforms (Splunk preferred).
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to RHEL kernel, networking, storage, and enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation while providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification required.
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in enterprise RHEL administration (RHEL 7/8/9).
- Strong knowledge of Linux system internals, kernel tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
- Proficient in scripting languages: Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Strong background in TCP/IP networking, load balancing, and IT security principles.
- Experience with Linux virtualization (QEMU/KVM) and enterprise-level monitoring automation.
- Proven ability to build/manage RPM packages and perform source-based builds for enterprise applications
- Familiarity with FreeBSD and embedded Linux systems.
- Experience with Linux kernel customization and performance tuning.
- Background supporting Linux/UNIX systems for SAP landscapes.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and enterprise change management processes.
- Exposure to Thin/Zero Client architectures.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
- Effective collaborator in cross-functional and international teams.
- Proactive, customer-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and service excellence.
