Planning Assistant Manager

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of related working experience (in SCM-Planning and warehouse management).
• Minimum of 3 years of team management experience, specifically in leading a team of planners.
• Proficiency in handling the Monitor G5 system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient negotiating and planning abilities.
• Comprehensive cross-functional knowledge in related areas such as logistics and production.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably, experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates a customer-centric approach.
• Communicates effectively.
• Executes tasks effectively.

• Coordinates the schedule of activities with Business Development (BD) for planning, scheduling, shipment, and material acquisition during program start-ups.
• Takes responsibility for the development and implementation of the company's production control functions, including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Production Scheduling, and Shipment.
• Develops, implements, and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work-in-progress tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting.
• Approves quantities, schedules, and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt, and issuance of production material requirements.
• Engages in material planning, inventory control, and product loading based on available capacity, while simultaneously managing inventory levels of fast-moving, slow-moving, non-moving, and non-confirming items.
• Continuously assesses and refines planning processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with best practices.
• Identifies opportunities for automation or streamlining of planning activities.
• To execute any task as and when required by management.
