- Gathers and assesses data concerning both the manufacturing process and associated equipment, and interprets blueprints and schematics relevant to the manufacturing process.
- Operates machinery when necessary to accomplish direct assembly tasks, while also providing support for factory equipment and its corresponding processes.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
- Manages documentation pertaining to manufacturing and related processes and ensures updates are integrated into the manufacturing systems.
- Provides hands-on assistance to resolve technical quality issues related to customer complaints, manufacturing, engineering, test methods, and equipment.
- Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
- Acquires job skills, becomes familiar with company policies, and completes routine to moderately complex assignments/tasks, while making suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Adheres to established company, legal and regulatory standards and guidelines, and ensures confidentiality in all dealings with company data.
- Assists in implementing new processes, supports department-level operational plans, and shares technical information with colleagues and clients.
- Solves defined problems using established procedures and delivers basic technical, administrative, or operative tasks under direct instruction and close supervision.
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in manufacturing systems and equipment maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.
