- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Provide guidance to senior management on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Oversee the preparation and posting of job advertisements, screening of candidates, conducting interviews, and hiring decisions.
- Foster a positive workplace environment. Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and feedback. Organize employee engagement activities and surveys.
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and performance-based incentive programs. Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
- Assess and identify training needs, coordinate employee development programs, and create a roadmap for leadership development within the company.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, industry regulations, and company policies. Advise management on legal matters related to employment.
- Implement and manage performance appraisals, provide feedback to employees, and work with managers to address performance issues. Develop strategies for continuous employee development.
- Generate and analyse HR metrics and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates on HR activities to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting employee well-being and safety in the workplace.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in HR functions.
- Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
