About the role: To report to the Team Lead - Credit Risk of the Central of Excellence for the Global Credit team supporting APAC, EMEA, LATAM out of Malaysia. Ingram Micro as Global Distributor trades with a large customer pool across multiple countries in a sector exposed to substantial credit risks. The successful candidate combines proactive ownership of deep-dive financial and deal-structure analyses with meticulous attention to detail. They are natural communicators - asking the right questions, listening closely, and sharing insights openly with key stakeholders to build genuine trust and alignment. Equally confident analyzing credit data and engaging directly with global customers, they bring both sharp analytical skills and strong interpersonal presence to every interaction. KEY DELIVERABLES: Credit Assessment Coordinate credit limits and insurance settings for global customers in partnership with the North America credit team. Conduct deep-dive analyses of financials, trading history, deal structures, and contractual terms for short- and long-term deals. Deep understanding of financials and balance between commercial sense, credit risk, and global customer needs. Deliver comprehensive credit reports with concise, approval-ready recommendations. Collaboration & Communication Engage actively with country credit teams through regular meetings to gather critical information, share insights, and ensure alignment on risk assessments and customer exposure. Serve as the primary liaison for the global customers across credit teams and the Global Sales, fostering strong relationships to accelerate decision-making and drive business outcomes Monitoring & Reporting Prepare weekly aging reports on balances for global customers across regions; collaborate with local credit teams and the Global Sales team to address overdue situations. Proactively monitor global customer portfolio performance and credit outcomes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data in the portfolio database; prepare clear, insightful management reports that highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities. Ad-Hoc Support Embrace short-notice assignments and quickly adapt new knowledge to meet evolving business needs. REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis and business development from MNC organization will be an added advantage. Embraces change, particularly in new ways of working, and understands the best way to operate in a transforming digital business (i.e., curious, challenges the status quo, adaptable, growth mindset, analytical, knows how to harness the solutions and data at their disposal) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural differences and sensitivity. Demonstrate critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, supported by solid experience in data analytics. SAP knowledge is an advantage. Experience with credit insurance is an asset. Excellent command of English and the ability to understand the Chinese language would be an advantage. Show more Show less
