Head of Business Development – Oil & Gas (M10043)

• Oversee and direct the handling of present and potential Clients' business needs regarding floating solutions in Malaysia, ensuring the sustainable growth of the department and optimizing Company profits.
• Take charge of overseeing the comprehensive client management experience for both internal and external parties, encompassing current and potential clients in Malaysia.
• Direct and oversee the process of cultivating relationships to pursue and secure potential jobs, thereby supporting the department growth agenda.
• Strategically plan and develop business development and marketing strategies to acquire new ventures within the Malaysian market. This includes identifying robust business models and contracting strategies for potential projects.
• Devise marketing initiatives to endorse the department products and services, nurturing a strong client network, establishing marketing tools, and actively engaging in promotional endeavors to secure contracts.
• Cultivate relationships with potential partners, lead strategic alliances, and explore business acquisition opportunities to fulfill and amplify the department business and capability needs. This involves evaluating the performance of joint ventures for potential future collaborations.
• Coordinate and facilitate high-level business negotiations internally and externally to ensure sustained growth for the department and profitability for the Company.
• Obtain support and necessary approvals from the management.
• Mentor, develop, and inspire staff to achieve superior performance and meet the department business goals by providing guidance and motivation for subordinate development.

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years specifically in business development and/or marketing within the oil and gas sector.
• Preferably, experience in engineering, operations, or techno-commercial aspects of offshore projects would be advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Holding a Master of Science (MSc), a Masters' degree in Business Administration (MBA), or any relevant professional qualification is an additional asset.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
