Job Summary The role of Wellhead Engineer for Cameron (M) Sdn Bhd is to support the Engineering Manager in providing drawings/designs of X'mas Trees and Wellheads to meet customer's requirement, Cameron Engineering and API Standatrds. The Wellhead Engineer will support the Manufacturing and refurbishment of Wellhead equipments via the disposition of NCRs and RGRs. He/She is also responsible in assisting the Engineering Manager in troubleshooting field installation problems. The Wellhead Engineer will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve the plant improvement. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the Wellhead Engineer are: Preparing drawings, information and documentation which meets Cameron engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market the Company's product. Carrying out and direct design and development work to meet customers' and/or the industry's need. Working and direct work within stated procedures to ensure that design records/control is maintained. Be familiar with company products, design principles, manufacturing techniques. Plant support activities such as : Disposition any non-conformance reports (NCR) from QC on equipment manufactured in-house or by vendors. Support the planning and purchasing department in reviewing substitution request and engineering service request (ESR). Support the Aftermarket Department via reviewing and dispositioning Repair Goods Request (RGR) to refurbish/repair used equipments. Minimum Job Qualifications Educational : Wellhead Engineer should be in possession a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Experience : Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 year experience in related environment in similar industry.Ability to produce drawings/sketches to illustrate design/ideas. Strong interpersonal skills. Good communication skills.Computer Skills : Wellhead Engineer should be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Knowledge in SAP would be an advantage. Language : Fluency, both written and verbal, in English and Malay. Communication Skills : Wellhead Engineer should be able to express ideas effectively in both individual and group situations. In addition, he/she should be able to organize and express ideas clearly in written documents.
