- Set up and troubleshoot major downtime issues for test equipment, including Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality and throughput.
- Conduct investigations for quality incidents related to test equipment and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform product conversions on test equipment to support various production requirements.
- Monitor key process input variables (KPIVs) using tools such as the KPOV database, OEE tracking, Maintenance Logs, and the Digital Preventive Maintenance system.
- Drive and support equipment upgrade and continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Act as an upskilling trainer for test equipment, providing technical training and guidance to team members.
- Perform equipment checklists in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks and contribute to special projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and documentation practices.
- Adhere strictly to all safety rules and cleanroom protocols.
- Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field).
- 4-5 years' working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, gears, conveyors, pumps, compressors) and electrical systems (AC/DC, three-phase, sensors, relays, drives).
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and pressure controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (electrical diagrams, equipment manuals).
- Understanding of failure mechanisms and ability to isolate, detect, and correct equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using MS Windows Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment (Lockout/Tagout, PPE usage).
- Experience with PLC basics and troubleshooting automation/controls.
- Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools
- Experience with Test & Measurement equipment
- Technical Expertise - Strong hands-on ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on industrial machinery.
- Troubleshooting - Logical fault isolation and problem-solving skills for mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Tool & Instrument Proficiency - Skilled in the use of multimeters, alignment tools, torque wrenches, calipers, oscilloscope, function generator and other diagnostic equipment.
- Communication - Ability to explain technical findings clearly to colleagues, engineers, and supervisors.
