Job Summary Assist the Associate Director, Derivatives Strategy & Development to improve the profitability and growth of AHIB&aposs derivatives business, as key products and services of AHIB&aposs Stockbroking Business to achieve AHIB Group ("the Group")&aposs long and short-term business objectives. Job Responsibilities Business Strategy, Planning, and Expansion Support the Associate Director in crafting and executing the overall business strategy to enhance AHIB's derivatives positioning across products like Futures Proprietary Trading, High Volume Traders (HVTs), CFDs, and Discretionary Trading. Assist in developing strategic business plans and market segmentation initiatives to broaden the client base, including foreign participation. Leverage frameworks like SC's Capital Market Masterplan and Bursa Malaysia to align AHIB's growth with national market development. Undertake strategy-related research, benchmarking, and proposal development. Handle ad-hoc strategic initiatives or projects assigned by the Associate Director. Product Development and Lifecycle Management Assist the Associate Director, Derivatives Strategy & Development in end-to-end product development lifecycle: from ideation, feasibility studies, regulatory alignment, to go-to-market execution. Ensure effective integration of new products across internal systems, improving user experience and reducing operational bottlenecks. Coordinate product testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure business readiness. Perform periodic reviews to assess product performance, client relevance, and market competitiveness. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the key liaison with internal stakeholders: Compliance, Risk & Legal for regulatory approvals and internal governance. IT, Procurement & Operations for technical development, system integration, and vendor management. Sales, Business Heads & Marketing for activation strategies, campaigns, and outreach initiatives. Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments to drive effective project execution. Business Performance & Sales Enablement Contribute to achieving annual KPIs, revenue targets, and long-term strategic objectives. Runs Sales and Marketing initiative to execute client acquisition campaigns, tactical promotions, and marketing outreach (e.g. promotional brokerage rates, incentives). Support and empower Futures Dealing teams (Salaried Dealers and Commissioned FBRs) to achieve retail growth targets across AHIB branches. Drive performance monitoring, pipeline tracking, and campaign impact evaluation. Training, Awareness & Relationship Management Deliver Product Briefings And Training Workshops For Internal Stakeholders And Clients, Especially In Roadshows, Presentations, And Onboarding Sessions. Build And Maintain Strategic Relationships Across AHIB&aposs Business Network To Boost Retail Engagement And Operational Synergies. Foster a High-performance, Collaborative Culture Through Open Communication, Engagement In AHIB's Core Values, And Sales Motivation Initiatives. Job Requirements 5 or more years of stockbroking experience at an established financial institution. Proven track record of meeting progressive performance targets Sound understanding of regulations, and deep industry and market knowledge with a proven record of translating this into effective business strategies to grow the business Extensive business network and well regarded in the financial services community Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders and employees Sound cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from diverse cultures.
