Learn more at and on and .Sr Equipment Engineer - Wafer Test Prober (P3)Typical Responsibilities include:
  • Troubleshooting & fix equipment failures
  • Optimizing equipment to match process performance across tools and maximize output.
  • Qualifying new equipment
  • Monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality
  • Designing, prototyping, and deploying equipment upgrades
  • Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs
  • Equipment improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time
  • Analyzing cycle time and equipment availability/utilization metrics
  • Writing operating and equipment maintenance specifications
  • Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Wafer Prober
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field of study.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 for undergraduate and graduate-level coursework.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with at least one of the following tool sets:
Wafer Prober – Strongly preferred ADI prober TEL Prober P8/P8XL/TEL Octo Precio/P12/P12XL(Primary), Electroglas EG2001/EG4090/EG4090U, Accretec/TSK UL3000.
or Semiconductor Test Handler
Familiar Wafer Prober - Tester interface – Strongly preferred ADI tester platform (LTX-TS88, NIGP3, Teradyne ETS364, J750, Micro Flex, A565, A575, Catalyst, TeradyneCTS5010/5040/5340/LCT40 and HP94k
  • Experience with maintaining and upgrading wafer prober to support 200x prober capacity
  • Experience Prober- tester interface, test instrument or robotics, motors, PCB troubleshooting and/or design, pneumatic systems, machine programming.
  • Demonstrated history of strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Superb computer and math skills, including statistics
  • Able to communicate with audience at any technical level
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, practical thinker, and problem solver who is a quick learner
  • Ability to manage multiple task or projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a strong worth ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operation
