Stay abreast of the latest trends in cake decoration and baking, incorporating innovative designs and techniques into our product offerings. Collaborate with the Pastry and Cake team to conceptualize and execute custom designs for special orders, including but not limited to weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. Conduct quality control checks on all decorated items, ensuring they meet the high standards of our brand before they reach our customers. Manage inventory of decorating supplies, tools, and ingredients, ensuring they are well-stocked and properly stored. Lead and mentor junior staff in cake decorating techniques, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team. Qualifications Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of skills and creativity. Proficient in various cake decorating techniques such as piping, sugar flower creation, fondant and marzipan modeling, airbrushing, and hand-painting. A strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for detail, with the ability to translate intricate designs into edible art. Passionate about baking and cake decorating, with a continuous desire to learn and innovate in the field. Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently when required.
