Job Description: The Inspector of Works (IoW) is responsible for supervising and inspecting construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and safety regulations. The IoW acts as the eyes and ears of the project engineer or consultant, ensuring quality control and proper execution of work. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect construction works on-site. Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Report any non-conformities or defects. Maintain detailed site records and inspection reports. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Registered as Inspector of Works with BEM (for Malaysia).
