The role involves developing and managing production schedules based on sales forecasts, machine capacity, and material availability while optimizing productivity and minimizing delays. It also includes coordinating raw material planning, analyzing performance data, preparing reports, and collaborating across departments to ensure efficient execution and timely order fulfillment.
  • Create daily to monthly production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
  • Distribute orders across production lines, considering equipment capability and efficiency.
  • Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules to manage delays or production issues.
  • Prioritize production tasks to maximize output and minimize downtime or overstock.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
  • Support inventory management by working with Marketing to clear excess or idle stock.
  • Plan production around machine capacity, maintenance, workforce, and output rates.
  • Track and analyze KPIs like efficiency, yield, downtime, and adherence to plans.
  • Use past data to improve forecast accuracy and production planning.
  • Generate reports on production performance, inventory, lead times, and delivery metrics.
  • Provide updates to customers and collaborate with customer service on delivery matters.
  • Support regional sales teams with data analysis and sales reporting.
  • Communicate plans with production, maintenance, logistics, and other related teams.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Shipping teams to manage urgent or changing orders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing or high-volume factory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for planning and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proactive and able to solve problems under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
