Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To : Director of Convention and Incentive Sales Job Summary: The Events Executive handles group and event enquiries, prepares proposals, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution while maximizing revenue opportunities. Key Responsibilities Handle group and event enquiries, offering competitive proposals based on rate structures, pricing strategy, and client requirements. Convert leads into confirmed events through strong negotiation and up-selling techniques. Maximize hotel revenue by identifying opportunities across all revenue-generating areas. Coordinate event details with relevant departments, issue Event Orders, and attend pre-event meetings. Collaborate with the Events team and other departments to ensure service excellence. Conduct sales calls and organize site inspections or familiarization trips for potential clients. Maintain effective communication across departments to support smooth event execution. Establish and manage accurate files for major groups and events. Skills And Qualifications Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in using office equipment.
