IT Engineers are high-level IT personnel who design, install, and maintain a company's computer systems. They are responsible for testing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking systems to meet the needs of the employer. IT engineers may also be required to train staff and manage projects.What you will do:

Managed and support IT Operation for AMETEK Malaysia (Plant 1 & 2).
Windows Client and Server Operating System, Software & Hardware Support.
Active Directory user account creation & deletion.
Hands on experience in Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Hyper V Manager, Nakivo Backup & Replication Pro, HP Systems Insight Management, HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO), Intune & Nexpose.
Manage/Remote support IT vendor in Singapore & Taiwan
Data Center/Server room maintenance.
Performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation, and on-going administration of non-routine and local area networks to ensure efficient functioning of all systems.
Remotely resolving application and network problems and mail configurations.
Interacts with end users to determine software and hardware needs in an effort to provide support in a timely manner.
Oversees set up of user accounts on company servers and runs necessary system update to ensure that company systems are secure.
Create purchase requisition and work with purchasing team for all the IT purchases.
IT software and hardware inventory tracking to ensure compliance with company IT policy.
Business network integration on domain migration, email migration and infrastructure integration.
Handling and maintaining IT SOX compliance and IT policy.
Basic troubleshooting of Microsoft Navision to support business users.
Managed Outsource IT Support.
Mobile Management.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties, responsibilities and classifications.

We are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role is required.
Analytical thinking combined with strong problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work under pressure and to a strict deadline.
Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.
Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
Ability to project manage.
Good communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
Capability to identify potential issues in a system configuration.
Knowledge of database and networking security systems. of responsibilities
