- Lead and support negotiations in a broad range of commercial contracts with internal and external clients and suppliers, such as regional and global engagement arrangements, confidentiality agreements, referrals, teaming and sub-contracting arrangements, and tenders.
- Support the Legal team and/or coordinate with external counsel where necessary in advising on, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on vanilla, novel and complex commercial matters.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of legal policies, rules, and guidelines
- Remain updated on legal developments and continue to develop best practices tailored to Deloitte's business needs.
- A candidate of the right aptitude will also be given exposure to the following areas and have the opportunity to develop subject-matter expertise in multi-jurisdictional commercial arrangements, the law of privacy, and/or investigative/contentious work.

- A recognized law degree from an established university
- 6-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable law / corporate firm, with a strong foundation in corporate and commercial work; and/or experience in a good in-house legal team.
- Ability to work independently in advising on, drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents on a broad range of commercial matters.
- Exposures to management consulting or IT industry is desirable
- Familiarity for alliance, subcontractor and 3rd party supplier contracts
- A good understanding of risk management and commercial practices.
- Ability to engage confidently and effectively with different people across different seniorities, expertise, roles and culture.
- Versatility in thinking and a large appetite for learning.
