As a Personal Banker in UOB Malaysia, you will be responsible for managing relationships with customers to provide them with personalized banking solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by offering tailored financial advice and meeting their diverse banking needs. Your typical day will involve providing excellent service to existing customers while actively seeking opportunities to acquire new ones. With your expertise and dedication, you will contribute to the growth of our customer base and strengthen our position as one of the leading banks in Malaysia.Job Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their unique financial situations and providing appropriate banking solutions.
  • Offer personalized advice on various banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, investments, and insurance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely responses to enquiries and effective resolution of issues.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products based on customers’ financial goals and needs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and product offerings to enhance customer experience and expand market share.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the branch and across different departments to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Job Qualifications:
  • Degree in any field from a reputable university or college.
  • fresh graduate or 2 years of working experience in the banking industry, preferably in a retail banking setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms and tools to enhance customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
