- To ensure PTTEP's interests are protected in legal negotiations and in contracts.
- To ensure the Management Team is fully briefed on the legal implications of the terms of the agreements.
- Responsible for the review of PSC's, JOAs, contracts/agreements entered into by PTTEP.
- Responsible for presentations and communications with Petronas and partners where necessary.
- All internal stakeholders.
- Corporate Legal Group, Bangkok.
- Corporate Secretary Group, Bangkok.
- Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“Petronas”), Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd, other subsidiaries and affiliates of Petronas, where relevant and other Production Sharing Contractors.
- Other potential customers, contractors and partners.
- External legal firms.
- Company Secretary.
- Other relevant parties, where necessary.
- Minimum 10 years experience (post admission to the Malaysian Bar).
- Minimum 8 years experience in oil and gas.
- Must be analytical and able to work independently.
- A team player, possess communications and leadership skills.
- Possess good negotiation skills with fluent in oral & written English.
- Experienced in oil and gas industry.
- Familiar with the Malaysian upstream oil and gas industry including PSC, JOA, and project agreements.
- Proven teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiar with the Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements and upstream oil & gas operations agreements. Proven teamwork, communications, and leadership skills.
