- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Assist the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
- To update and record permit to work & sign off upon completion of job.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports and records.
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities.
- Provide other administrative support as required to ensure the effective operations of the department.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and technology related to HSE.
- Minimum diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in HSE is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
