Relationship Managers are responsible for developing long-term relationships with SME clients by providing financial solutions to help them achieve their business goals. This includes offering advice on cash management, trade finance, lending, FX services, treasury bills, and other banking products. The role requires building trust and understanding client needs while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services. This position will be based in HQ.Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits to customers’ premises or meetings at UOB branches.Identify new business opportunities by getting to know clients' financial requirements.Provide advice on appropriate financial solutions to help clients achieve their short-and long-term business objectives.Ensure clients receive excellent service standards throughout their relationship with the bank.Develop expertise in specific industry sectors and/or specialized financial services to better serve customers' needs.Work closely with internal departments such as credit, operations, and product groups to deliver complete solutions.Cross-sell all banking products and services to expand customers' use of the bank's offerings.Keep up-to-date with changes in the market and economic conditions to provide clients with relevant information.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or equivalent.At least 3 years of experience in a commercial banking environment.Excellent communication skills in English and Malay.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships.Experience in using Microsoft Office applications.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Confident in presenting ideas and negotiating with senior management.Knowledge of Islamic banking principles would be advantageous.Additional RequirementsUniversity-Bachelor - Banking & FinanceBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
