Senior Staff Engineer Failure Analysis

• Provide FIB EDX analysis with report based on job requirements by requestors.

• Be the FIB tool owner and take ownership on the maintenance of the tool and able to solve technical problems with the equipment or software.

• Presentation on the findings and root causes of defects to requestors

• Prepare lamella for TEM analysis and circuit edit using FIB

• Scrutinizing FIB related jobs and negotiation on the request.

• Provide high quality FIB images with accurate measurements.

• Comply with the requirements to meet the satisfaction of requestors.

• Bachelor / Master / PhD Degree in Mechanical / Material science / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics disciplines or relevant qualifications are required

• 3-5 years of experience in cross section milling and imaging specifically FIB-SEM, EDX or relevant

• Lamella preparation for Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and Circuit Edit using FIB will be an added advantage

• Good knowledge on failure analysis methodology

• Good analytical minds in technical problem solving and inspiration for all possible solutions

• A strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving techniques

• A high level of self motivation, result focus and ability to work under high dynamic situation.

• Excellent communication with negotiation skills, and good team player

• The following experience/knowledge is advantageous, but not a prerequisite: TEM, SEM, EDX and Ion Miller
