Reporting to the Head of HR, you are responsible to clarifies C&B related policies and procedures, provides instruction, counsels and possibly training regarding C&B subject matter. In addition, you will be responsible for talent hiring and headcount planning for the plant.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out industrial surveys, generate accurate and meaningful reports for review to ensure the compensation and benefits stay competitive in the industry market
- Review site benefits related matters and to propose necessary changes to support overall rewards philosophy taking into consideration financial implications, market practices
- Leading the C&B team in governing the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure all data maintained are accurate to generate accurate reports, processing data for monthly payroll and employee personal file management
- Oversee the payroll, ensuring compliance and data integrity and accuracy of the payroll function
- Keep abreast with updates in government regulations, legislation and compensation and benefits trends. Ensure that compensation and benefits practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
- Review and administer employee salary adjustment or promotion within internal and external equity
- Carry out the yearly employee performance appraisal exercise
- Carry out on-merit increment budget and proposal. Manage and complete the merit increment exercise
- Prepare Management Paper or Board Paper as and when required by management
- Control the hiring activities within the approved headcount budget
- Manage full life-life cycle recruitment including developing search strategic, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and onboarding process
- Develop an understanding of the business and develop relationships with the hiring managers in every functions to help analyse, identifying and developing solutions for any gaps identified in the talent pipeline
- Adept in sourcing strategies, social recruiting and online employment brand management
- Bachelor's degree and above in a related field
- At least 10 or more years' solid HR generalist experience with strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Pleasant, approachable and tactful personality with good communication and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Demonstrated sound judgement, maturity and high personal integrity and able to work independently
- Well-versed in Malaysian Labour Laws and Industrial Relations practices and knowledge
