- Initiate and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and build long-term partnerships.
- Effectively address and resolve customer complaints and issues to uphold trust and ensure ongoing business relationships.
- Participate actively in local country meetings and discussions to obtain direct insights into customer expectations and operational challenges.
- Retain current business by meeting financial and volume objectives while ensuring consistent and sustainable growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the company’s services and solutions within the SAO region and extending outreach to global markets.
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for customer retention and new business development across all Key Accounts.
- Work closely and collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners across various regions to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled efficiently.
- Manage and deliver customer projects successfully and on time, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall business goals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline (advanced degrees are a plus).
- More than 10 years of experience in Key Account Management within the logistics industry, with a strong background in developing logistics solutions or similar roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the logistics industry, including freight forwarding, contract logistics, and land transportation services.
- Strong strategic and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of resolving complex business challenges.
- Skilled in financial analysis, pricing models, and cost control practices.
- Able to perform well under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as part of a team, and across various departments to achieve business goals.
- Excellent team collaboration, adaptability, and proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven expertise in managing relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a talent for crafting innovative logistics solutions.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities, with a solid grasp of customer business needs.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- A history of successfully acquiring new business and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
