This role is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment processes, from building a sourcing strategy, candidate sourcing, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer management and to handling on boarding.Recruitment:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or conflicts, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.
  • Promote a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs within the organization and develop training programs to address those needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions on topics such as diversity and inclusion, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.
Compliance:
  • Stay current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, including personnel files and HRIS updates.
  • Assist with audits and inspections related to HR practices and policies.
Language Support:
  • Provide language support to Japanese-speaking employees, including translation of documents and interpretation during meetings or presentations.
  • Serve as a cultural liaison between Japanese-speaking employees and other team members, promoting understanding and collaboration.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and training.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Japan and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and other HR software applications.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
